Executive travel

The journeys where arriving unbothered is the point: a director to a meeting, a client collected from a terminal, a board guest taken between sites. Pre-booked, priced before travel, and arranged around the appointment rather than the traffic.

What this is for

  • Client collections. A visitor met at an airport, station or hotel and brought to you, with the meeting time as the fixed point and the pickup worked backwards from it.
  • Director and senior travel. Journeys where a missed slot costs more than the fare, so the vehicle is committed in advance rather than dispatched on hope.
  • Multi-stop days. Several sites in one day with agreed waiting between them, planned as one booking.
  • Out-of-hours. Early departures and late returns, arranged the working day before.

Choosing the vehicle

Why there is no vehicle list here

Executive travel is bought on vehicle class, which makes it the one place a published list has to be exactly right. Ours is confirmed against the actual fleet rather than published in advance — tell us the passengers, the luggage and the impression the journey needs to make, and the vehicle is agreed before anything is booked.

How the price works

Priced from our rates and attached to the booking, so the figure is known before travel. Where waiting, additional stops or a return leg are part of the plan, they are in that price rather than added afterwards. Airport and terminal parking is treated the same way.

Account customers are invoiced under the arrangements agreed in writing — see corporate accounts.

Where we run

Executive journeys are arranged from Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire to wherever the meeting is. Coverage is deliberately named as towns rather than a region — see coverage.

Executive travel questions

What makes a journey "executive"?

The handling rather than a badge. The journey is planned around the meeting it serves, the vehicle is agreed with you before it is confirmed, and one contact stays with the booking. We do not publish a vehicle list we have not verified — ask and you will get a straight answer about what is available for your date.

Can a driver wait between meetings?

Yes. Address and port collections include 15 minutes from the booked time; airport collections include 60 minutes from the actual landing time. After that, waiting is £8 per 15 minutes, and on airport work that rate covers any further parking too. Longer waits between meetings are built into the booking and the price in advance rather than discovered afterwards.

How does an airport collection work?

Meet and greet is standard on every airport collection, not an extra to request. The driver is at the meeting point from the actual landing time — we track the flight, so a delay moves the collection rather than costing you anything. Sixty minutes from landing is included, along with an hour of airport parking. Nothing to add, nothing itemised.

Can we book for a client or a visitor rather than a colleague?

Yes — that is most of this work. The booking is placed by whoever is authorised on the account, for whoever is travelling, and the passenger does not need to deal with the account at all.

Is this the same as a chauffeur service?

It is executive private hire: a pre-booked, licensed journey with a vehicle and driver suited to client-facing travel. We would rather describe it plainly than borrow a word that implies a standing arrangement we have not agreed with you.
