Golden Transfers Ltd arranges pre-booked private hire for organisations across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire. The proposition is narrow on purpose: accounts rather than app bookings, journeys committed in advance, and arrangements written down before anyone travels.
Why accounts
Most corporate travel problems are administrative rather than automotive. Expenses arrive weeks late and unmatched to cost centres; nobody can say what a department spent last quarter; and when a 6:40am pickup fails, the only recourse is a refund nobody has time to chase. An account replaces improvisation with arrangements — which is less exciting than an app and considerably more useful at 6:40am.
How we work
- Pre-booked only. A private hire vehicle must be booked in advance; it cannot be hailed or taken from a rank. That is the law, and it is also why a booked journey can be committed rather than hoped for.
- Priced before travel. The price is attached to the booking, not discovered at the end of it.
- Stated agency. We arrange journeys as the disclosed agent of an identified transport provider, and say so plainly — a procurement question answered before it is asked.
- Written arrangements. Invoicing, references and reporting are agreed in writing when the account opens, so what you were told is what you get.
What we will not claim
You will not find availability promises, response-time guarantees or a driver headcount on this site. Not because they would not read well, but because a target only means something once it is agreed with you and written into your account — and a phone number is not evidence that somebody is holding it. Where a fact is not confirmed, this site leaves it out rather than softening it.

Who are we contracting with?
Golden Transfers Ltd, company number 17351254. We arrange journeys as the disclosed agent of the transport provider identified on each booking: that provider supplies the transport, we arrange it and remain your point of contact, and our own responsibilities as a licensed operator are unaffected.
How long have you been operating?
We are a new operation under this name and would rather say so than imply a history we do not have. What is not new is the licensing, the vetting and the obligations that come with running private hire — those apply from the first journey.
What do you not do?
We do not hail in the street or work from ranks — every journey is pre-booked, which is a legal requirement for private hire rather than a preference. We do not sell travel packages. And we do not take on work we cannot cover properly; you will be told that rather than discovering it on the day.
